With Him Healing wants everyone to be able to come away, be still, and be restored in His Word — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. This statement describes what we have done to make withhimhealing.com accessible, where it may still fall short, and how to tell us when something is in your way.
1. Our Commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Everything on this site is free and offered to all, and accessibility is part of that gift. We review the site as we add to it, and we treat accessibility problems as things to fix, not things to explain away.
2. What We Have Done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone. Links, buttons, checkboxes, and switches can be reached with the Tab key and activated with Enter or Space, and a visible gold outline shows where you are.
- Headings are structured in order so that screen readers can move through a page section by section.
- Images that carry meaning have text descriptions; decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Text and background colors are chosen for readable contrast, and text can be resized in your browser without breaking the layout.
- The site honors your device's “reduce motion” setting. When it is on, the drifting background, fading text, and other animations are turned off.
- Pop-up notices — the Terms of Service gate, the cookie notice, and the cookie preferences panel — are announced to screen readers and receive keyboard focus when they open, and the cookie preferences panel can be closed with the Escape key.
- The interactive Bible study workbooks can be read, written in, and printed, so you can work in whatever form suits you best.
- Pages are built to work on phones, tablets, and desktop computers, in portrait or landscape.
3. Known Limitations
We are honest about where the site may not yet be perfect:
- The contact form is provided by Tally, a third-party service. We chose it because it works well with assistive technology, but its accessibility is maintained by Tally, not by us.
- The interactive workbooks save what you write in your own browser. If you use a browser setting or extension that blocks local storage, your reflections may not be kept between visits.
- Where we quote Scripture, we present it as it appears in the King James Version, including older spellings and punctuation that some screen readers may pronounce unexpectedly.
4. Tell Us What Is in Your Way
If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, we want to know, and we will work to fix it. Please reach us through our contact form and tell us which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology or browser you were using, if any. We read every message.
If you need any of our books or workbooks in another format in order to use them, ask, and we will do what we can to provide it.
5. Third-Party Content
The site links to outside resources such as Bible websites. We are not able to control the accessibility of those sites, and we encourage you to contact them directly if you run into trouble there.
6. Changes to This Statement
We will update this statement as the site changes and as we improve it. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
